Start with the run objective

The official store names Vessel and Spark as part of the core loop, while the roadmap anticipates more Vessel content. That makes static rankings especially fragile.

Choose the objective first, then ask what the Vessel changes about survival, carrying, combat, movement, or team coordination.

Record strengths and failure cost

Test what the Vessel makes easier and what still ends the run. A powerful combat moment does not erase poor extraction, inventory, or coordination.

Keep notes on solo and co-op separately. A limitation another player can cover may be decisive alone.

Re-test after new content

New Vessels, constructs, and balance changes can alter both direct power and team roles. Re-run the same small test after a relevant patch.

Preserve the old result with its version rather than silently rewriting the conclusion.
